...WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HALEAKALA AND THE BIG ISLAND 
SUMMITS...

.Very cold air aloft will move over the islands with showers
spreading over the highest peaks of Haleakala and the Big Island 
through Thursday. Expect periods of winter weather with ice and
snow over the highest peaks on both islands. Temperatures will 
warm up over Maui by Thursday night with snow transitioning into 
rain over Haleakala.
